Thomas J. InserraThomas J. Inserra serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Peak Advisors, LLC.

Previously, Mr. Inserra led a national business affiliated with Zurich Financial Services - a $450 billion global corporation.   He has also served as Interim CEO, COO and CFO leading several turnaround and startup businesses in the USA and Asia.

Mr. Inserra's P&L leadership experience as an operating executive, is complimented with a past role with Accenture - a global Big-5 Management Consulting firm with $12 billion in annual revenues and 70,000 employees.  At Accenture, he was appointed to roles as Interim CEO, COO and CFO leading several business turnaround and startup efforts, which required travel to or temporary residence in the countries of Singapore, India, Thailand, Mauritius, and Indonesia.

Mr. Inserra has served as a key executive in the largest business turnaround in the state of Arizona, as well as the largest turnaround in the United States.  As an Executive Committee Member for a group of receiverships in Arizona with combined assets of $19 billion (including Charlie Keating's bankrupt Lincoln Savings & Loan), he helped manage, turnaround and sell 10 troubled banks.  He was then promoted to a Washington DC based position where he held a key role at both the FDIC and the RTC, which was tasked with managing and turning around 742 bankrupt and underperforming banks with total assets of $402 billion.  The FDIC and Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) banking crisis ranks as the largest and most complex turnaround endeavor in the United States.

Mr. Inserra has a B.S. degree from Purdue University’s School of Technology, in a unique program of study known as “Organizational Leadership & Supervision”, which focuses on how to train, motivate and lead people.  He also has completed an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix, based in Phoenix Arizona.  Thomas is a current member of the “Turnaround Management Association”.

Tom successfully completed a six-year term as a national Trustee and Executive Committee Member of The Appraisal Foundation, a Washington DC based organization authorized by Congress to establish federal standards for valuing real estate, personal property and business assets in the United States.

His extensive turnaround and loan restructuring experience, combined with prior executive roles at well regarded banks including Citicorp and Household Finance Corporation (HFC), resulted in an invitation for him to testify before the U.S. Congress Banking Committee on bank turnaround and regulatory issues, aimed at helping to prevent future banking crisis.   He is also a former advisory committee member within the Executive Office of the President of the United States under both the Bush (Senior) and Clinton Administrations.
